FLUIDITY

Be like water and slip through the cracks

We must not force ourselves to adjust but rather continually adapt to our circumstances.
Conflicts constantly arise in athletics and life. When pieces of the vault do not come together as we wish blaming yourself or your environment confines you to a box of limitations. You have the choice to be rigid or transform to the situations you face. Instead of thinking you can’t adjust to your surroundings, make your own way and a solution shall prevail.

INTUITION
The body is only as strong as the mind
border

Recognizing when your body has been pushed to its limits is imperative in preventing injury and allowing optimal progression.
There is an acute difference in training for peak condition and over training. Your future self will amount to identifying when to push yourself and when to back down.

MENTALITY
mentality
The only opponent you must face is yourself.
border

As mentioned previously, your body is only as strong as your mind thus the only thing you have to fear is yourself.
The only person who’s able to tell you what you can and can’t do is yourself. No one knows you better than YOU. If you don’t trust your training and believe in what you can achieve, how will you find success? A confident mindset is one that will triumph regardless of the obstacles faced.

DEDICATION
A champion is made when noone is watching
border

The foundation of success is the accumulation of the choices you make everyday.
You are defined by your actions, stemming from the decisions you make. Only you can be held accountable for the choices made during and outside of practice. Finding your best self is a continual choice, a choice to be better, to do better, to become something you’ve never been.

SUPPORT

During times of triumph, defeat, and anything in between your support systems becomes invaluable.
We are molded by the direction, guidance, and help received from those who support us. Our driving force is not singularly found within but extends to the encouragement of those we surround ourselves with, whom continue to push us towards our goals. Having a strong positive support system translates to a confident vaulter.

VERSATILITY
Your greatest strength is your weakest link.
border

Optimal training consists of consistent balanced growth.
Advancements in performance can rapidly be promoted from uniform increases in strength, speed and proper technical training. favoriting or focusing on one over the other can lead to unbalanced development which has the potential in halting a vaulters full progression.
